Are pubs & clubs doing the right thing?
Four venues were issued with non-compliance orders following an inspection of late night operations of 17 clubs and pubs recently.
For the first time the Council’s Planning Enforcement Unit teamed up with Responsible Alcohol Victoria (RAV) to ensure compliance with planning permits and liquor licenses.
Offences included exceeding patron numbers, blocking footpaths and playing amplified music in contravention of their planning permit.
